Hotel Mercurio is the highest rated Gay hotel in Puerto Vallarta, according to independent guest reviews on Trip Advisor (www.tripadvisor.com).  Trip Advisor currently lists 103 hotels inPuerto Vallarta, and based on reviews, we are number 8, in company with hotels (none of which are advertised as Gay) that cost MUCH more than Hotel Mercurio.

Hotel Mercurio also enjoys the highest rating among "moderate priced" hotels on Pink Choice (www.pinkchoice.com) a site dedicated to ratings and guest comments for Gay and Gay-friendly properties worldwide.

• I'm back home in Palm Springs, and I want to take a few minutes to let you know how much I enjoyed my stay in Puerto Vallarta and at the Hotel Mercurio.
The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. I especially liked the morning breakfast buffet, when I could socialize with the other guests and enjoy a relaxing, fun beginning to each day. I know now why visitors to Puerto Vallarta fall in love and come back again and again. I hope to return again next year and I will certainly stay with you.

I don't remember everybody's names, but I will try:  muchas gracias a Eduardo, Mary, Erick, Osvaldo, Juan-Luis (?), and to everyone whose names I have forgotten, but not your smiling faces. • My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Mercurio from May 12-May 21, 2007.  Our first experience in Puerto Vallarta was completely blissful, comfortable, and unforgettable. The incredible services provided to us and the professionalism of all the employees were a wonderful addition to our already magical vacation.  We came back to New York with a new found respect and adoration for the Hotel, Puerto Vallarta and most importantly the new friends we made whilst staying there.  You are very lucky to have such an incredible team of employees working for you. We cannot thank you enough for all the wonderful and special "personal touches" that made our stay worthwhile.  We are still talking and
reminiscing about our experience and would like to extend a bit on our experience

First and foremost, we'd want to send a very special greeting to our new friend and confidant, Joel.  He truly and honestly made our stay a worthy addition to all the things that Puerto Vallarta has to offer. Joel did make us part of the close-knit family at Hotel Mercurio.  Day in and day out, Joel made us laugh; he was a trove of information regarding everything to do and see in P.V.; he shared valuable and memorable times with us and truly made us feel at "home."  His warm smile and positive aura made us feel as if we knew him for years!

Joel is a wonderful employee and a magnificent addition to the Hotel staff.  We shall forever be thankful to him for teaching us that it is OK to be who we are without caring about negative comments and doubtful assumptions. We have left all our trepidations and insecurities a part of the past thanks to Joel. We are going to dearly miss our friend!!!  Keep on smiling and being happy dear friend, we shall keep in contact.

Juan Carlos is a welcoming, caring and professional employee as well. He also shared with us moments that we won't soon forget.  His professional demeanor is a wonderful asset to be had.  Juan Carlos is also a very knowledgeable person with respect to all things P.V.  A very thanks you goes out to him for all his assistance, kindness and honest friendship! Whenever we had a question or concern, he readily assisted us and went the extra mile for us. You'll be missed because of your intelligent conversations and willingness to learn about other cultures and people!

Gabriel is without a doubt a very professional and yet approachable individual.  He always has a smile on his face and is always willing and able to go the extra mile to provide all guests with outstanding customer service.  Gabriel did make sure that we had everything that we needed readily available to make our stay very comfortable and without any glitches.  Kudos to him for his outstanding service!  We are going to miss his warm smile! Alex is a warm, professional and also knowledgeable employee and person.  He also made our stay very special, indeed.  Whenever we had a question or concern, he was always ready to provide us with answers and suggestions.  We also had the pleasure of sharing wonderful and memorable moments with Alex as a friend.  Keep up the good work Alex for you make a difference in people's lives without knowing it.


The housekeeping staff: Mary, Erick and Jose Luis are a treasure of kindness and respect.  They all did a magnificent job at keeping our room immaculately and freshly made every day.  We have nothing but wonderful things to say about all of them.  Their dedication and honest smiles are worth more than words can say.  We'll miss you all! And finally but not less importantly, we must thank Jorge for his invaluable service at the bar every single time we had the pleasure of partaking of his presence.  Jorge is the most sincere, funny, honest and respectful person anyone can meet.  He always made sure to share with all the guests equally.  He never made anyone feel left out our unwelcome.  Jorge also became a good friend of ours that we shall never forget!!!


We hope that you have the opportunity to share our wonderful experience and comments with all your employees.  We will definitely recommend the Hotel Mercurio to all of our friends because services and people like the ones you possess are really hard to come by!  We cannot wait to return to our home away from home and to see all of our dear friends again.
